AgroAI Terms

Terms of Service

The rules for using AgroAI — your agreement with us, what the service does, your responsibilities, and the limits of what we promise.

Last updated: 11 September 2026 Applies to agroai.az & the AgroAI app

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and AgroAI ("AgroAI", "we", "us"). By accessing or using AgroAI at agroai.az or the AgroAI app (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What AgroAI is

AgroAI is a precision-agriculture tool for irrigation planning. It reads recent satellite radar (SAR) and optical imagery over a field you draw and combines it with weather data to show where your field is wetter and drier, so you can decide where to irrigate. Weather information is used as an input to these estimates rather than offered as a standalone forecasting service. AgroAI is actively under development, and features may change or be replaced as the product evolves.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. If you use AgroAI on behalf of a farm, business, or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it. By using AgroAI, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

Your account

You can create an account with an email and password or with "Continue with Google". Some features may require an account, and we expect signed-in users to have access to additional capabilities as the Service develops. If you have an account, you are responsible for:

  • keeping your password and sign-in credentials confidential and secure;
  • all activity that happens under your account;
  • providing accurate account information and keeping it up to date;
  • notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use at agroai.com@gmail.com.

Accounts are personal to you. How we handle your account data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

When using AgroAI, you agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
  • access, or try to access, another user's account or data;
  • probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or with any data provider it relies on;
  • scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract data or imagery from the Service;
  • place unreasonable load on the Service. Each analysis consumes satellite processing capacity, so please request fields at the scale you actually farm and manage. Examples of what is not acceptable: drawing areas far larger than a working agricultural field (for example a whole district, region, or country), sending analyses automatically or in rapid succession through scripts or bots, or repeatedly submitting requests you do not intend to use;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code, except where the law expressly permits it;
  • resell, sublicense, or use the Service to build a competing product or dataset.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or block use that we reasonably believe is abusive or harmful.

How to use AgroAI's readings

AgroAI shows you estimates of how wet or dry different parts of your field are, calculated from satellite imagery and weather data. They are not measurements taken in the soil itself, and their accuracy depends on conditions such as cloud cover, how recently a satellite passed over your field, and how much crop cover is on the ground.

AgroAI is designed to show you how conditions vary across your field so you can direct water where it is most needed. It is a tool to support your decisions, not a guarantee of crop, yield, or field outcomes.

You remain responsible for the irrigation, financial, and operational decisions you make. Use AgroAI together with your own knowledge of the field and, where it matters, check conditions on the ground before acting.

Your content (field data)

You keep any rights you have in the field boundaries you draw. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to produce your reading. As explained in our Privacy Policy, field boundaries are processed on demand and are not stored or linked to your account.

Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, look and feel, and the AgroAI name and branding — is owned by AgroAI or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law or with our written consent.

Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party providers for sign-in, hosting, map tiles, weather data, and satellite imagery. Your use of those providers may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Apart from the email address used for "Continue with Google", we do not share your personal data with these providers. Our Privacy Policy sets out in full who processes what.

Satellite data

AgroAI's readings are derived in part from data of the European Union's Copernicus programme. Analyses produced by the Service contain modified Copernicus Sentinel data for the year in which they are generated. That data is provided without warranty as to its quality or its suitability for any purpose, and by using the Service you agree not to bring any claim for damages against the European Union, the European Space Agency, or the other entities involved in the Copernicus programme in respect of it.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any reading or forecast will be accurate or reliable.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgroAI and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of crops, yield, profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or any reliance on its readings — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service, or if we discontinue the Service.

Deleting your account

Self-service account deletion is a feature we plan to introduce. Until it is available, if you would like your account removed entirely, please email agroai.com@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the address registered to the account. We will delete it manually within a short time of receiving your request.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will also give you a more prominent notice, which may include a notification on your profile page and an email to your registered address. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Azerbaijan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you use AgroAI as a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections available to you under the law of the country where you live. Any disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Azerbaijan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
